SITUATION
The owners of a new construction luxury boutique
hotel in Michigan wanted to
ensure that once they opened their doors then all
individual guests and all corporate conference
facility guests would have a flawless experience. |
 |
All of the various hotel business systems had to work
together and remain secure. Hotel managers needed
to
be able to securely access the business systems from
anywhere.
Guests were required to have both wired and wireless
high speed internet access throughout. The
infrastructure also had to be able to accommodate large
numbers of additional individuals all being online
whilst attending corporate functions in the conference
facilities, with security and privacy.
Security staff needed wireless access to cameras and
the cordless Voice over IP phones in guest suites had to
be able to roam around the hotel. |
 |
SOLUTION
BlueRock architected the hotel network with security at
the core. Hardware and software was all
standardized - from servers and switches through to
desktops and laptops - and procured to facilitate smooth
operation and easy maintenance.
Wired and wireless security measures were designed,
implemented and are centrally managed. Hotel
business systems are integrated and available only to
those staff that require access.
During the building of the hotel and the installation
of many other systems from various vendors

communicated with and the systems configured to work in
an integrated fashion. BlueRock continues to

Client property, and also provides Help Desk services to
both the business staff and the guests.
BlueRock also provides regular strategic input at the

executing upon the existing business plan and
implementing future enhancements.
